I mean also her race has females as the superior (not sjw wokeness just the lore, not that I GAF either way just saying before someone slips out of the cracks.)
Planescape: Torment has no Githyanki companion!!!!!!!
Dak'kon is a Githzerai !!!!
There cannot be two skies!
But he might have a good advice for you, in this adventure!!
A divided mind is an unfocused mind. A divided mind fractures walls and weakens stone. Many divided minds may destroy a city.
Short: The Githyanki are very very arrogant to other races and think they are superior. Most other would not even have spoken to you, or even tried to kill you. They are after all an evil race of the astral plane which pillage like pirates in the material plane.
Still they arrogant and generally evil. Githzerai same race but different attitude and.. mortal enemies.
I donno I could tug on those ears, it's the sharp teeth that gives me pause.
Clerics were not really popular among Githyanki, they did not really recognize gods, as they even build cities on dead gods in the astral plane. Since she is a fighter, she is from the highest one. A Clerik would maybe be recognized as spellcaster, being of the mlar-caste (specialized tasks and crafts). So she might have think you are lower caste :P .
Maybe I'm just easy to please, but I feel like I've seen far worse characters in RPG games.
Also I don't expect any game to ever satisfy my vanilla BGI&II or planescape itch. Its been 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥ years even if the same teams did a reunion their personal styles have probably changed since then and a new game even by them wouldnt feel the same. Thats what happens when time passes. You can kinda deal with it or become uber elite online game critic and die mad about it. Ask EVERY edition war ever.
we are a bunch of people who would not give each other the time of day if it were not for the fact that we need each other. in a way it also simulates that awkward time in the first 2 - 3 sessions of a new campaign.
I do agree that Lae'zel is a bit high on her own supply but it makes me want to see where we go with that character.
