You are not a fan of BG I can tell. Also you are trolling my thread young teen. Blocked. Next time be productive.
Heavens to Betsy! Whatever shall I do?
This game isn't even in alpha yet so just because you didn't see things doesn't mean it's not planned.
Someone disagrees so naturally gets the 'You're not a Fan!!11' response. Classic.
It's like that's all these people know how to respond with.
How many more hundreds of hours and complete playthroughs do we need to do before we are considered 'fans' I wonder..
not really a super jump
the animations are quick and simple for loot, whats the issue
talking to animals..is a thing..you can do..in D&D
"realistic 2d" you mean those low quality jpgs from the old game? the game looks better, looks similar to 5e artwork.
import/export of what?
multiclassing i admit would be nice, probably removed for balance reasons, or effort to make work.
you mean: UI highlighting, a QoL feature?
the movements have been bad in all of them
dialogue..is as it happens?
there was so little context, it all sounded casual for someone on the start of their adventure? why would it be grimdark.
3d characters look neat, arguments of "age badly" dont hold water.
you can fly 30 meters by taking a hit in D&D? shove mechanics exist.
I was fine with some things, such as turnbased instead of pause (shame but could live with it). But theres not a single thing except the name and setting that makes this a bg sequel. Its really insulting towards a true BG fan.
He didn't disagree. He accused me of trolling that's why he got the block and 0 respect from me. He deserved it with that unproductive insult. Also. I believe someone can be a fan of both games, but if you MORE are a fan of BG then you wouldn't like this take on BG3. Because its basically a DOS3 except setting and story.
Complaining that that a game in 2020 isn't 2D to stroke your nostalgia-boner, is definitely 'trolling'.
Not ideal for the old school fans but honestly from a financial perspective and catering to their own audience from the dos 1-2 games turn based was the only way to go.
But how do you know the story of an unfinished game?
They will be working in characters from the original games and all the lands and places are the same as it's all in the Forgotten Realms.
