hutch is killing chickens
Hi, somehow the chicken hutch is killing chickens.

I imagine this has to do with the hutch getting dirty. I have two problems with this.
one, i cant even clean it right now, the option seems bugged.
two, if it is dirty, the chickens would stop using it, not die.

I am finding these chickens in long abandoned yards living just fine, but building them a hutch and not cleaning anally will kill them?

this doesnt add up and I am just going to have to destroy the hutch.

I would rather search the yard for eggs than have to constantly worry about the hen house killing the hens

Yup dirty hutches kill chickens, (which makes little sense as you say. No hutch doesn't kill chickens either). Not being able to clean it must be a new bug? Didn't test it in 42.4.1 but it worked before with a dish towel and a water bucket, or water bottle.
You have to have a kitchen towel and water in your inventory for the cleaning mechanic to work. Tainted water works fine so I keep a bucket near the hutch that fills with rain.
