It´s the font size for context menu. Set it to small.

Another temp solution is to remember to close the alt ingredients window by clicking the double arrow again before closing the menu.
Seems to be related to this, yeah. For now the workaround is to close the "Possible Items" tab when you've opened it and are closing the crafting menu again.
We've already fixed this internally.

I've also noticed that the icons for items that are required for crafting on the right side of the crafting menu are very large or at least there are no smaller versions for lower resolutions.
