(Solved) Mod server issue (downloadpending)
I just running a dedicated mod server yesterday, everything was fine. but some mod were updated, and the server had to be restarted.

So I restarted the server, and the error started.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LOG : General , (number)> (number)> Workshop: onItemNotDownloaded itemID=(mod_id)result=2
LOG : General , (number)> (number)> Workshop: item state DownloadPending -> Fail ID=(mod_id)
src\tier1\fileio.cpp ((number)) : m_vecRegisteredWriters.Count() == 0
src\tier1\fileio.cpp ((number)) : m_vecRegisteredWriters.Count() == 0
src\tier0\threadtools.cpp ((number)) : Assertion Failed: Illegal termination of worker thread 'CFileWriterThread'
CFileWriterThread already exited
CFileWriterThread already exited
CFileWriterThread already exited

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I solved the problem in this simple solution.

1. Delete SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Project Zomboid Dedicated Server\steamapps\workshop\appworkshop_108600.acf file.

2. Run server.

Also, refer to these.

Another solution that worked for me! Delete all the .Dll files in your ---- steamapps\common\Project Zomboid Dedicated Server. Then verify files in steam- worked for me at least.

thanks for this, it works for linux dedicated servers as of the date of this post. seeing errors in C pop up like that was kind of unnerving. i even went through the trouble of updating libc (even though that didn't make sense logically). i had actually tried editing the failed downloads out of the .acf file and that hadn't helped, so i didn't consider deleting the whole thing until seeing this post.

generically the linux directory is:
/(install_dir)/steamapps/workshop/appworkshop_108600.acf

for those using the directions off the pzwiki for a linux dedicated server, it won't be in your /steamapps/common folder, it's at:
/opt/pzserver/steamapps/workshop/appworkshop_108600.acf
