arrow mouse bug

I have a bug where the mouse section does not appear in the main menu, yes it is invisible because after a few attempts I managed to enter the game and it remained invisible.

Did it happen randomly or have you always had the mouse invisible since you started the game?

this problem started two days ago and every time I've been in these last two days I'm still invisible

Go to "C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid" and delete everything there except the "Saves" folder and see if that helps?

In that case, try going to your Windows Mice settings and make sure that the "Mouse Trails" option is disabled.

Hm, try going to the C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid folder and edit the options.ini file.
In that file, edit the fullscreen=true line to fullscreen=false
Then try launching the game again.

This should launch the game in Windowed mode, does the mouse just disappear even in this mode?

in this mode the mouse appears again, but if placed in fullscreen within the game options the mouse disappears again.

Try playing in Borderless mode in that case? Its basically fullscreen but works slightly differently.

ok, but is this a bug from the last patch or was it something on my pc that made this happen?

There have been no mouse arrow bugs reported, meaning it is likely something with your PC, such as if you have any overlay programs running in the background which can mess with the games Fullscreen rendering, and thus causing the pointer to not show up.

for me it was Windows Magnifier running and fixing it by enabling "lock cursor in window" in the game settings
