Multiplayer commands

1) the teleport command uses player's steam name. If they have weird character in their name, you can't teleport them or teleport them to you. It just won't work. Corect me if theres other methode im not aware of.

2) the game itself fails to add " " around player's name if their name have more than one word.

If i want to teleport to someone named "Lazy Joe", i go to player list and click the "teleport" button, it wont work, because the game would input

/teleport Me Lazy Joe

and then return error, saying theres no such player named like that.

and i will have to manually type it myself

/teleport Me "Lazy Joe"

then it will work.

fix please?

Was your friend dead? Had they already disconnected?

one of my friend had heart symbol on both side of her name, but they arent even being displayed in the game, and i also dont have any mean to type in those hearts, which results in me being totally unable to use teleport command on that friend.

Usernames aren't used by the buttons, so the hearts aren't the problem. It doesn't type in the /teleport "Player" command for you. It makes an API call directly, based on the SteamID of your friend in the list.

i will test again next time when i host a steam server.

I'm hosting through steam, doesn't that make me admin? I can teleport/godmode my friends at will anytime i want, without being invincible myself.

1) I can't teleport him to me because the game doesnt add " " around 2nd person's name

2) I can teleport him, becaus the game adds " " around first person's name, and his name happens to be just one word

3) I can't teleport to myself, the first name being my original steam name, the 2nd name being my current steam name.

Im not typing the command myself, we were talking about the "teleport" and "teleport to you" buttons in the "player" menu in the multiplayer.

They, are, broken. Need, fix.
