Everyone started getting sick after rumors of haints crawling out of the deep woods and hollers of Appalachia. For some people, it was only a headache, floaters in their eyes for a few hours. Others started changing. The woods are whispering a woman's name; the neighbors are slipping into insanity as they turn into something...else. There's a deep fog stopping anyone from leaving the area, and you're stuck picking up the pieces trying to figure out what exactly happened to cause all this.

You heard someone rapping a shave and a haircut on your door. You answered it, knocking back in response. Then whoever was on the other side slid a letter underneath your door.

Somber Leaves is a heavy on RP, 18+ Eldritch Horror taking place in Knox County. No one’s sure where the haints came from, all they know is that the nocturnal creatures fear sunlight and are still capable of human speech. The server is set up as a mystery role-play where survivors work together to explore locations like Pleford, Grapeseed, and Fort Redstone to discover what really happened July 22 2013.

A world which feels alive due to the admin controlled NPCs who will either guide you or lead you astray.
