About Us
- Just a dude with an overkill Computer that's been running a Zomboid server since 01/01/2024 - 99% uptime - restarts and general maintenance for that 1%
- Just people who love the game, no monetization, no group or organization backing us, just a crew of Zomboid lovers who are looking to make a decent multiplayer experience for all to enjoy
- Volunteer group of moderators and admins to assist with Zomboid bugs and cheaters
- Center focused maps with many new locations large and small
- Hosted on a headless dedicated Windows Server 2022 system with a AMD EPYC 4564P, 128gb Ram and a Samsung 990 Pro and 1G fiber speeds.
- Looking for The chillest to live and die in the apocalypse! Music, instruments, expanded farming/weed/drug manufacturing, cars with armor, interiors and more
- Room To Grow: With growth of the server, comes more servers. When population has no more available slots for the server, we plan to open a second community server that will be hosted on a dual processor enterprise machine with 2x E5-2630V4 Processors offering 20 cores/40 threads and 160GB of ECC memory. The Epyc Machine is the faster of the 2 machines.

- Death Is Not The End: Simple overhaul for Traits and Occupations - SOTO, Skill recovery journal, Grief /theft protected safe houses with the option to invite and remove anyone you want even if they have their own safe houses
- Cash Is King!!!: Grind jewelry off of dead zombies and stores and refine into gold and silver to sell for "Money", trade with players for loot and services, manufacture drugs and sell packs for cash, decentralized marketplace
- Community Involvement: We occasionally host events for the server if no other players have built something together. We promote the idea of players using their resources to build great things and bring others to their communities in order to grow and promote their services or money. Staff will help with larger than life plans.
- Unexpected Growth: Out of nowhere we have risen in the rankings on battle metrics and have been grateful for those who continue to play on this server. Always looking for input to improve the server and engagement.

I joined back in September. Honestly the best server I've been on and I have no plans to leave. It's not just the setup of the server, but also the community created by the people that play on it. From organized events to random encounters every moment is great.

Take last night for example: Five of us were raiding Fort Rock Ridge when someone got bit. None of us had a cure, but someone we had never met in chat had one and came by, gave us the cure for free. We ended up helping him raid the hospital for more medical equipment then invited him to winter at our safehouse. That was the start of the wildest convoy I've ever been in. In large part to the fact a blizzard decided to appear and none of us had remembered to check the radio.... Luckily our cars were well armored.

Picture this: Two filthy casual gamers, A young (ish) gentleman and not so young Lady wandering the dark lonely Purgatory of failed servers and communities. They wander looking for a server without toxic staff, toxic players and an overly hard map. We all come across loads of bad servers filled with toxicity and squeakers, but fear not because in that sea of stupidity is a single ray of shining hope. The Doobie Brothers. Yes that's right there are such things as Unicorns. This community and server is that unicorn. The owner and staff are kind understanding and fair. They are fast to weed out the issues; Server and player related I might add, and nip them in the bud right away. For a PZ server with this many mods and player base it runs smoothly and cleanly. They make sure they keep it well oiled and running with very few issues. Not all servers are perfect but this one is pretty dang close. I for one plan on staying a long long time in this community. Developing friends while enjoying the game can never be bad. I highly recommend this community and server.

I was a solo player for about the first year I owned PZ. This server is my first multiplayer experience, and it's been a lot of fun.

Pretty chill Admins and mods, helpful and professional and good sense of humor.

First time playing multiplayer I joined this server, I will never need another. The server has nice and helpful people and admins, awesome for a new player like me :). There was a music festival when I joined, it was fun until the hoards of dead came. The whole server came together to fight them off, BEST NIGHT EVER!, for me a new player I never imagined having so much fun. From that first day I knew, I will always be a part of the Doobie Brothers server!

After many years of research, finally a really good server! A truly interesting environment, very welcoming and interactive, so much so that my friends and I are still recommending it to everyone! Well done, continue to surprise us!

I have had an absolute blast on this server. The admins are helpful and friendly. There is very little downtime and I have gotten the most kills and lived the longest. I even took part in a concert at one of the many events hosted by the admin. I highly recommend this server for new and veteran players. A+++ ♥

This is a friendly and fun server with some cool looking events. I'm a new player and was able to fit right into the atmosphere. The custom recipes and constructions are really fun and add some interesting ways to play the game. I'm definitely looking to spend a few hundred hours here at my home away from home.

Fun server! First server I tried with mods and didn't feel the need to go to any other server. Good community and good admin/mod team. The map mods are great with lots of locations to travel, and lots of quality of life features and very active as well.

It uses the "Another Vehicle Claim System" AVCS MOD and the building menu mod, which is cleaner and gives more tile pack options than the more builds mod.

Also an expansive economy using the Bikini Tools economy system and several vehicles with upgradability
