What are 'normal difficulty' settings for MP server?
Just wondering whether there's a list of 'recommended' settings for a new co-op MP server?

Obviously there are millions of options that can be tweaked in the server setup screen, which is completely overwhelming for the noob.

Are the default settings the recommended settings? This is confusing as the default settings don't have admin or player safehouses checked, for example.

Should one ignore all the sandbox settings if looking for the 'normal' game? ie don't select any of the presets, for example?

Any guides to how to set up a MP server for the best co-op experience would be appreciated.

im not amazing at the game, but if you need to learn mechanics i recommend ether having no zombies and trying to survive without then, or just have them at low so they dont overwhelm you within the first couple of minutes.
I recommend trying the ''Apocalypse'' settings a few times. See what the vanilla game is like and the challenges it presents. You can then decide what you want to see more/less of.

Brilliant - thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for.

Ok - only question I have left after watching that guide:

safehouses: the default settings have 'player' and 'admin' safehouses unchecked. Does this mean that safehouses are not possible under vanilla Zomboid?
