Server not responding.
This is what i did :
Portforwarded ports 16261-16280
I started up the server file.
I entered the password.
I entered the details into the game server browser.
It says its not responding.

What i did : I checked if my firewalls are blocking the game, windows firewall antivirus firewall and router firewall isint blocking it, Restarting everything.

PS: When it says in the console that the server started it says steam isint enabled, does that have something to do with it ?

Help me please.

I have the same problem. It just says "Steam is not enabled." How do I enable this? :S

Same issue here, and before latest patch, I could make a LAN server for 2 ppl with no problems whatsoever. Today tried, after patching was done, for the first time again in a while. And no luck, tried everything possible.
Even set up complete new network with new IP's and the whole shazamm.
"server not responding" is not going away.
Willing to provide more info, but only if someone is willing to look into it. it's been a long day already ;)

p.s. I don't use hamachi or whatever, those were a pain in the @ss the second they were installed. But hoping for some sort of solution :)

did you use StartServer64.bat to start? It sounds like you used ProjectZomboidServer.bat instead.

Close the game if it's running.

Go to your Steam Library.

Right-click "Project Zomboid", choose 'Properties'.

Click the "Launch Options..." button, and when the text field appears, enter '-nosteam' (without the ' ' ) and click OK.

You should be able to join.

I'm having this same issue, I've restarted my computer, reinstalled everything, did
the -nosteam it won't allow me to play with it, I have verified integrity of game files, nothing seems to be working.
