how to play coop with mods

as i say in the title, how do i play with mods, i activate them in the settings but when i host the game the mods doesnt show ingame.

Make sure you load them in the workshop tab on the settings as well. If you don't, the server won't load the mods. That's what happened with me.

I'm going to host coop for a few friends. Does the client need to subscribe to the mods?
