As we all know Sugar is essentialed commodity in making Jars of All-the-Goodness and Cakes, but it's have a limited availbility. How about implementing a.... Sugar Beets, so that players would cultivate and process them into their own Homemade Sugar.


Here is the simplified process of making Homemade Sugar from Sugar Beets.

Recipe: Sliced Sugar Beets
Ingreedients: Sugar Beet (consumed), any blade weapon
Result: 1 Sliced Sugar Beets
Requirements: Cooking 0

Recipe: Sugar Juice
Ingreedients: 3 Sliced Sugar Beets (consumed), 2 Bottles of Water or 1 Cooking Pot of Water
Result: 1 Sugar Juice, 2 empty Bottles or 1 empty Cooking Pot
Requirements: Cooking 1

Recipe: Homemade Sugar
Ingreedients: 1 Sugar Juice (consumed), Cooking Pot, Oven or Firepit
Result: Homemade Sugar
Requirements: Cooking 2

As a farmer in-game, I love more crops to grow. I'm hoping stuff like hops and now sugar beets gets added into the game. Considering that I found a link to homemade alcohol using sugar and yeast, makes it seem like someone could potentially run their own little minitowns with farms and bars and all sorts of fun things.
