Dragging zombies too slow and exhausting
At 9 fitness and strength dragging a single corpse out from the first floor makes me completely exhausted and takes a whole real life minute, its already hard enough to convince my friends from keeping the roads clear of corpses on the regular, now imagine having to remove 30 of them from your new high rise base... this definitely needs some adjusting.

My suggestion would be to allow holding shift to go faster with the current exhaustion rate, and making the current drag speed at most have half the current rate.

I mean to be fair it would get quite exhausting dragging even just one corpse so it’s not really unrealistic

I'm fine with the exhaustion of dragging corpses, but what I'm curious is if it's normal that we can't store them in cars anymore. Maybe it's temporarily disabled.

at near maximum humanly possible peak physique (9 in both) you should be easily able to carry 3 of them, one at a time ofc, in firemans carry before youre so exhausted you can barely walk lol but thats just my opinion.

also keep in mind this suggestion would be different if we could toss them out of windows or off balconies.

It already took too long for me without the dragging mechanic so unless I need them gone from my immediate vicinity I just let them rot where they are, even if it means that I will have to drive slowly through a part of town.

Even with 10 strength and fitness you get exhausted from dragging a corpse like from one house to another.

Not only is that incredibly silly that peak human condition has you getting tired in 30 seconds of moderate effort, but it would be way easier to fireman carry the corpse at that point.

maybe a good solution to this would be changing the drag animation to an actual firemans carry where you can still jog once you hit a certain strength level

Jfc stop with this idiotic argument every single time someone has something to say about the game. You know what is realistic? Taking a sh.1t. Wonder why that isn't in the game.

whiteknoghter gona whiteknight.

I agree, it's a bit too exhausting. As it stands, I would never use it which is a bit sad, considering how much work went into this feature that also looks pretty cool as well. I hope they change it a bit.

Fireman's carry of few reeking corpses, splatting blood and brains on me or grinding in clothes its dried out version? Thanks but no thanks.
But maybe the physical stats should have a bigger impact on speed and exhaustion of the drag.

My corpse removal time is 5 years.. Am I doomed or is there any secret method for not having piles of corpses where I don't want them?
Wilson Dec 19, 2024 @ 6:45pm
Yeah its a little silly. I liked giving people a proper burial but now it's basically impossible. I have to burn all my dead.

Would be nice to be able to directly load corpses into certain containers, such as the bed of a pickup.

make a pile and pour some gasoline. making the pile is prolly gonna take a whole real life hour at some point tho xD

Even with mods it took a long time to remove an entire city from the street
