Manually setting vehicle speed limit
Generally, vehicles can accelerate quite quickly so before you know it that sharp bend is approaching at 70-80mph...

It would be handy if we could click on the speedometer to set a max speed. A little icon that could be dragged around the edge of the dial would be great.
Then we (I) could happily drive along holding down w without having to keep lifting my finger off the key while keeping one eye on the speed

+1.
Or at least having a key to maintain speed rather than always speeding up.

+1, a little annoying that you have to alternate between using W and not just to keep a steady speed. Maybe having manual gearing? So you can choose which gear you use which will dictate max speed and acceleration.

love the dial idea, simplistic but works.

You can already set cruise control with shift+w (increases speed) or shift+s (decreases speed). Doesn't seem to be in the F1 guide under vehicles, so could probably use a sentence or two in there.

It was't the case back when this suggestion has been made, 3 years ago...
