Upgrading structures
Note that I'm talking about wooden structures here, because I don't know about metal ones. But if it works the same, my suggestions apply too, of course.

Hi,

So, we can upgrade crafted wooden walls, but when we do it, the game won't search our bag or the ground before the wall to see if we can do the upgrade: unlike every other construction, we have to have the materals directly in our "main" inventory. Though, that would be helpful if upgrading worked the same way as building.

Still about upgrading: That would be nice if we could somehow upgrade fences, doors and floors the same way we upgrade walls. Because, if we want to have beautiful constructions, we have to dismantle the old (and ugly) ones and rebuild it. And sometimes, doing so is really annoying (for instance, a wooden floor tile won't be re-buildable because it was near another structure and for some reason we have to destroy that other structure before being able to rebuild the floor tile).

Thank you!

Pressing R will allow you to select the floor tile without having to destroy that other nearby structure. Also, you can use the furniture menu to get floor tiles from already made buildings and cover up those ugly wooden ones. In fact, wooden floors are required before you can place lifted floors.

Thank you, but that's not what I'm saying. Destroying the floor title is not a problem. Building a new one in its place is the problem. Sometime it will be impossible, just because there's a fence right next to it, for instance.
