Cant pick up item in B42 Multiple.

when i pick up items it starts 1000 errors per second, how to fix it?

Bump. tested after removing all mods and on all server settings. works in solo but not when I host or join.

tried a clean install too, btw.

removed all mods, checked game cache, changed version and back, did a clean install, checked my ports for forwarding and removed all of them, tested it on other people's servers and when I host, tried with rule presets instead of mine.

nothing fixes it. the point seems to be that if I play online at all, it refuses to work.

EDIT: I specify that it only does it in unstable and only since the last update. worked fine before and works fine on stable. also my install is on my C drive which is an SSD and my connection is direct ethernet on a fiber router

There seem to be a lot of various errors, likely from a game install corruption, which can happen when switching between game versions.

Can you try doing a full reinstall?
First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.
After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.
Then just install the game again and see if that helps.
