Can't make rain barrels?

I can't seem to make rain barrels despite having the supplies needed to craft them, do I need to have a certain level carpentry to make them, or is it a bug?

You should be able to make them all from level 0, I know crates require level 1 but I'm sure rain barrels can be made from the start. You need to have a hammer and the nails in your base-inventory but the planks can be in your base inventory or on the floor near where you want to work.

What game version are you running? Do you have the beta branch enabled at all?

The rain barrel is under the furnitures menu in the build menu :)

can you move the barrels once they have been created? or do you have to make them where you want them to be?

right now you cant move crafted stuff

I cannot craft a rain collector at all. I have 4 planks, 4 nails, and a hammer in my inventory and a level 2 carpentry skill. I can see it to be crafted in the build menu when I right click, it wants to be built, but It doesn't do anything when I click on the rain collector.

I think you need some garbage bags unless you have those already.
