Linux native version not working while Proton is
Using the Linux native version on Linux Mint 22 with a lot of mods, I haven't been able to actually spawn in on a server, the "Click to Start" never appears. Everything else works, the menus, the loading process, and character creation all work, it's just spawning in that doesn't. I've looked around on the internet to find fixes but nothing has worked for me. What does work is forcing the use of Proton (I use ProtonGE for this but I'm sure normal versions would work as well), but there's stuttering so it's not very nice to use. I've also tried compatibility mode and launching from the bash script.

The server is running Build 41 with about 11 GB of mods. Everyone else (all of which are playing on Windows) are able to play without issues.

Do other servers work? Does it work without any mods?
Singleplayer and multiplayer both work without mods. Singleplayer also works with a few car mods, nothing big. I think the issue may be the modpack because when I went to try it out in singleplayer I got a bunch of errors while loading in. I'll contact the server owner and see if anything can be done. Still strange that this is only a problem on Linux though.
Server owner says that the prompt to start playing takes a while to show up but I've waited about 10 minutes before and haven't seen it. The rest of the loading process is pretty fast.
Some mods may not be supported on Linux due to file case sensitivity, only the mod creators can fix that.
Oh ok, good to know! Thank you!
also check your ProjectZomboid64.json and try to increase the -Xmx memory size, some mods need more memory
