Report a translation problem
Make a backup of your save. You can find your saves under C:\Users\XXX\Zomboid\Saves. Try loading the backup. Most of the times that worked for me, and I got back to my usual 120 fps instantly.
Or load your game in debug mode. Then delete all animals. However that will also delete all of your farm animals, IF you are close to your base. So make sure your base is not loaded when you do it. :)
I believe it is related to rats? I think they have a bug where they multiply 1000 times over and over, which causes huge lags.
