Save host forced to make new character

Recently a friend of mine started up our little modded multiplayer save that we've had going for 2 weeks now and suddenly the game is making them create a new character?? Their previous one isn't dead and I've tried to look up online for fixes but none have been helpful.

They haven't changed their steam name and their IP hasn't changed either, They're just running a multiplayer save so its not a dedicated server and all the mods are up to date and nothing conflicts.

Would really like to get some help to get their character back if anybody has advice or ran into the same issue

Some character modifying mods have been reported to cause this issue, such as mods that add traits, skills or occupations.
The only fix I have seen would be either retrying to load into the character a bunch of times, or removing the mods to prevent the issue from happening in the future.

We've tried removing the traits mod we have since I saw that show up a lot on other discussions but hasn't seem to of worked, I sorted through our mod list to see if there was any other mods that would affect character and tried removing those but nothing has worked just yet

Well as mentioned, you have to do it before the issue happens. So has this problem happened before or after you removed all those mods?

Happened before removing mods, still happens after as well

Means the mod causing this is issue was not removed or not removed properly:S

If it happened after removing any character altering mods, can the server host share the logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid? I want to double check if no character mods are present in there and look into the issue after that.
