Project Zomboid

my game crashes after a while hosting a server.
(English translation made using Google translate.)

Among all my friends I'm the one with the best PC, because of that I always host the server.

I put the game to use 16gb on my computer which has 32gb within the game's excutable functions and I put the server to have 5gb (I don't know what the GB of a server means)

always, after a few hours playing on the server, my game simply freezes and I can't do anything other than listen to the zombies around me, my character continues to move and so do my friends on the server, for them they are fine, just for me it crashes and I have to close the server because of it.

Sometimes when it crashes my character gets colored with some colored polygons as if it were a memory error and then everything gets stuck with my character completely broken.

I would like to know if anyone has experienced this while hosting and wanted to know if it is a memory error, it is definitely not the mods because other friends of mine have already created servers with the same mods, but if there is a mod that does this only crashes my game I would like to know, I really need an answer to this, I want to play until I can't take it anymore, I don't want to stop because of a crash.

Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
You can use any file-sharing website of your choice or a temporary one like filetransfer.io for example.

As far as I can tell, there might be an issue with your microphone causing the crash.
Try going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Set Launch Options > Type -novoip > Start the game and see if it crashes again.

Try going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Set Launch Options > Type -novoip > Start the game and see if it crashes again.

No chance, I'll definitely try but I don't know how you came to that conclusion looking at the logs.

You are going to laugh but it is not impossible.
In another game(one that sold over 10 mio copies) some folks got a very dire error message that usually hints upon some serious hardware issues. (if you look up the error code) But it was only caused by...a corrupted driver for a controller:D

A spam of Resampler::Push errors, which are tied to Voip usually, meaning the microphone. You can see the logs for yourself.

My game crashed again and every time it crashes my PC crashes along with it, every time it crashes my PC crashes and my friends can't hear me anymore, but I can hear them, can you see the logs again? I'm starting to think it's my PC.

If the whole PC crashes then that might be a problem, the logs do not specify any thing that would cause a crash this time.

In which case, can you share the latest “hs_err_pid” file found in your main game folder “Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid”?

Additionally, can you check the Windows Reliability monitor for any ProjectZomboid application crashes or any Hardware Crashes there? If you do find any, can you share a screenshot of the Technical Details section so we can check the errors that show up there?

I ended up uninstalling the game and decided that I will play again after B42, I appreciate the help and if I experience this problem again when I play again, I'll come back here.
