Game crashes upon attempting Borderless Window on Ultrawide monitor.
Hiya- first time making a post.
I recently purchased as Samsung Odessey G9 [49inch] and tried playing Project Zomboid. On fullscreen it *sort of* worked, but as soon as I clicked off the window, Zomboid crashed. I attempted to fix this by using Borderless Window and the game just crashed- and when rebooted it didn't go to Borderless Windowed.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I think the game has some issues with screen compatibility? Like how the UI looks ultra small in a 4k screen.
If you want to change the game into borderless window, you'll probably need to change to .ini file manually instead of changing it through the game.

If you just got a new screen, you may need to reset the game settings so the screen is properly recognized.
Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid and delete everything there except the "Saves" folder to do that.

Figured out it was a rather specific feature of my monitor. It had a "gaming mode" which attempted to rescale the window-- which messed with Zomboid's rescaling for fullscreen window, which caused a feedback loop.

Interesting, may I ask what kind of monitor that is? Just in case this comes up in the future for anyone else.
