How much RAM does a project zomboid server with mods need?
I plan to rent a PZ server to play it with 4 players (for now) and approximately 100 mods, I have no idea if the mods need more ram, could you help me? thank you.

This seems more like a question you should ask in the Support discussion section.
I think it depends of what kinds of mod you are loading. Modificated mapps, textures and more mods that change too many aspects of the game will require more of your PC.

I think also matters how much part of the map is needed to be stored as revealed and active.
So if they go for an extended game, where they are able to explore like say 25% of the map, that can also increase the memory useage.

We run a dozen or so mods. Car mods, AFTAA, some farming stuff, and usually 5 or so towns. I have it set to 6gb for my 3-5 man group and never run into any problems.
