Sorry an unexpected error has occured

So I've been locked out of my friend's server for a day now trying to figure this out. I've done ground up re-installs on the game multiple times, no dice. Deleting EVERYTHING doesn't fix it, so maybe someone can help me solve the problem?

Looks like there is an issue with the specific player. Have you tried going to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid\Saves and deleted the "Multiplayer" folder there?

I have tried that, yes.
I have also tried uninstalling all mods, uninstalling PZ, deleting all PZ files from my computer, reinstalling, and re-subscribing to the mods.

In that case it seems like that specific character is corrupted, I can only recommend connecting with a different username to make a new character, or ask your friend to edit the player.db file in the Save folder and remove your character out of there.

So tried that, same issue.

Likely a problem with the server itself then, is anyone else able to connect to it?

Yes, three other people have been confirmed to be able to connect to the server.

Okay so, you deleted the proper save folder in your Zomboid folder right? And after that the admin of the server edited the players.db folder and removed you from there as well right?

I didn't have the server owner delete the players.db, but instead I chose a new username so I'd be creating a new account on that server all together. I'm not sure if that would be different though, and I could convince him to remove me from the players.db if you think that would yield different results. However, that said, both accounts yielded the same error.

Hm, I would probably recommend unsubscribing from all mods from the Steam workshop, then restarting Steam, then going to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid and deleting everything there except the saves folder and lastly verify your game files.
Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Local Files > Verify Local Files

This should give you almost a fresh game install, after that try logging in again with a new username, perhaps it would be a mod conflict?

Unfortunately, I have tried that. I did the following steps;
1) Uninstall all mods
2) Uninstall Project Zomboid
3) Deleted Documents/Project Zomboid/ folder
4) Deleted /steamapps/Project Zomboid/ folder
5) Reinstalled PZ
6) Reinstalled mods
7) Connected with new account name

Same error. It was an attempt to rule everything out.

I think I am out of ideas at that point, the error basically means that the character cannot spawn on the 0 coordinate because it doesnt exist (something wrong with the map)
And you mentioned that it only happens on that specific server. Perhaps try using a different character setup? Different traits / profession?

Yeah I have tried multiple setups and got the same result. I still think it's a server side issue even though other people can connect. I'm inclined to think that something went wrong with the map or spawns after the server launched. Day one everyone created their characters except me, on day two I tried to make my character but wasn't able to.

Thanks for all your help, I'll work with the others and post back when we get it working, and report what was changed to make it work.
