Black Screen on launch (solved)

when i launch the game I just get a black screen but can hear the menu music but cant do anything else, I have updated drivers and reinstalled, i have searched the web but nothing i found was helpful. launched as administrator, deleted user files except saves. not sure what to do, any help would be appreciated.

searching through discussions. one of them said to go to the options.ini file and put fullscreen from true to false and this worked, i have to play in border-less windowed, full screen won't work at all. this is fine just, happy i can play the game.

Are you sure your GPU drivers are up to date? That issue and fix combo suggests to me that you have one of the broken AMD drivers from last year.

Yeah my drivers are updated, I use GeForce, I have a 2080ti so Nvidia, I have been playing the game fine since i did the options.ini fix, but just can't put it in fullscreen without the screen going black. I have searched for an answer for hours but could not find a fix for this specific issue.
