PZ keeps crashing when loading in to a map
When i try to load in to the tutorial or a map it crashes right after and as well to that it will pull all the cpu utilization it can and freeze when it hits 100%.

I reinstalled it and the freezing issue is gone for now but it still crashes

What are your PC specifications? And can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
You can use any file-sharing website of your choice or a temporary one like filetransfer.io for example.

The specs are ryzen 5 1600, 24gb of mem and a rtx 3060.

Seems like a Java misconfiguration. Try using the "Alternate Launch" option when starting the game through your Steam Library and see if that fixes your issue.
