I was concerned because I am very noob in the game, and achieving some levels like Carpenter 1 after reading like 8 boosting books was an incredible progress to me. I know this may not be something special for an intermediate player but it was to me and loosing all the Skills and Habilities when logging out was pretty demotivational.
Did you perhaps forcefully close the server at any point? Either using Alt+F4 or closing the game with the X button?
Alternatively, are you perhaps playing the game in Split screen mode while playing multiplayer?
Well I think I closed the game properly every time, but I am not 100% sure. If I have to delete all the server and start again is a big deal but I think I can try as I already lost the skills and some important items. When I am playing multiplayer the screen is not splitted. I play in my account and my friends play in theirs. Also, i looked for the information of the characters and found some .txt with Perks and Items. I think I will try to copy all the server data into a folder in the Desktop to have a backup while trying to solve this; if that makes sense. I'll let you know. ¡Thank you!
EDIT: I remember closing once the game and had Windows Defender asking me for something about permissions for PZ, it may be related...but, how do I access that question now to allow PZ in Windows Defender? (I think I just ignored that window).
-Deleting the characters doesn't work. Also there was only one character in the menu.
EDIT:
-Deleting the world MIGHT have worked. But I would need some time in order to see if it saves my friends data too.
Thank you a lot! I really appreciatte your patience and your will to help!
By the way, could I replace my character info from one of the saves? It doesn't make sense to do it now because I lost my base, I just ask if it is possible looking forward as this may fail again. If it is possible I don't need an explanation, I will try to learn it myself. Thanks!
You can give yourself admin permissions with the /grantadmin "Username" command
You can then edit your stats and spawn items in the new Admin menu on the left side of the screen.
Thank you very much! Very helpfull! :)
