Cannot Download Map Chunks

It is always hit or miss. The server i play never has this problem and it's not on their end. Other folk have been having this problem. When trying to load into the game it'll freeze on saying 0/564 map chunks. Then, it'll say failed to download server information to title screen. I'm only able to get on the server when it is random hours, late in the night, early in the morning. Never when there is a high population. I've tried uninstalling and re-downloading. I don't know what to do.

That error just means that the connection is not stable to the server and fails to download the chunks in time. What is your ping to the server? And are you playing on a Wifi connection or ethernet?

i'm on wifi, thing is my ping is 12 or 11 usually. i've never had this problem before. others in the server are having this issue too. i was able to play with my phone hotspot with oer 200 ping before. no idea why this is happening. its inconsistent

whenever its not loading the chunks its saying 45-55 ping, its not my internet. other games i have 11 ping at the same time it is doing this. sometimes whenever its like this i'll hit refresh and it will say the server is not responding

Well, you mentioned you can play fine on the hotspot but not through your Wifi correct? That would indicate an issue with your internet. I would also recommend testing if it happens on other servers.
