Game crashes after connecting to server
Played on a local server with mods, after about 12 hours game crashed and after that does not connect to the server. After loading map shows game for 1 sec than crashes.
In solo mode everything is okay, with or without this mods. New local server with same mods works fine too. Is it possible to fix this issue on existing server or at least exclude this problem in future servers?

The log shows a crash because you are running the 32 bit version of the game, try playing in the standard 64 bit version and see if that helps.

Unfortunately 64 bit version doesn't work on my PC somehow

What kind of error do you get when you run the ProjectZomboid64.bat file? You should see its output there.

Surprisingly bat file opens PZ just fine, exe file doesn't work.

I recommend using either that or the "Alternate Launch" through Steam in that case.

Is there a reason this keeps coming up? My mate and i have played for years and he still can't launch the game normally. We've got no reason to think up anything else that might be the culprit that we haven't already tried changing. His performance is much much worse in these conditions also.

Usually happens due to Steam not installing the redistributable files correctly, a lot of games usually need them to start right.
You can download them here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

Also there is no difference between the two launches feature wise, there should be no reason why the performance would be worse.

When he gets in a car the vehicle sounds like its at max mph but he can only drive at like 24mph total because the game performance slows to a crawl. When he goes offroad he can't even accelerate. His machine is by no means bad- (7700K, GTX1080, 32gb 3200mhz, M.2 NVME etc, i have never had a problem on similar hardware though ive long since upgraded).

The game crashes for him immediately if he selects anything on the menu unless he runs off the 64bit bat file. The game just runs like pure ♥♥♥♥ for him, it destroys anything tied to framerate and i feel bad for the guy after nearly 600 hours of just dealing with it.

I would recommend making a new thread and sharing the necessary logs in it, as that would have nothing to do with the original issue in this thread.
