Low frame-rate when zooming out?
I have a computer setup consisting of a 3080TI graphics card, a Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core processor, and 32GB of RAM. When using the default zoom settings in my game at a resolution of 3840x2160, my FPS usually stays at around 100-120. However, when I zoom out fully, my FPS drops dramatically to 35. Even when I lower the resolution to 1080x1920, I only get around 100 FPS when zoomed out, which seems low to me.

I recently read a thread about low FPS at 4K, but I find it odd that I'm still experiencing low FPS at 1080p. I'm not familiar enough with this community to know if my performance is typical or if there are settings I can adjust to improve it. I've tried tweaking a few settings in the bat and json files, but they haven't made a noticeable difference. It's worth noting that I'm playing a vanilla game with default settings and a new save.

Low FPS at super high zooms is normal at the moment.

That's a shame. Looking at playing with friends and they all have ultra wide monitors. Unsure how this game will handle that. Hopefully won't cause issues.

Thanks for letting me know. :steamhappy:
