Failed to download map

My friend has recently been giving an error "failed to load the map", before that everything was fine, lowering the resolution or changing the settings to the minimum does not help, what should I do?

Would need waaay more info, this a server that you are hosting? Since if it was then that would mean you have some network issues.

Solution:
Reinstalling the game before each game in the multiplayer helps, also downsizing to the minimum + game in a window also helps, after logging can return the original settings
