Native 1920x1080 Display Issue
I've just purchased the game (no mods or overlays enabled) and am trying to play at my 1920x1080x60Hz native resolution (no 4K or anything).

All of the following will happen whether the DPI scaling checkboxes from other posts (I'm in Win10) are checked or not. My drivers are up-to-date (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970).

The first time it opened, my default was 1768 x 992 Windowed. If I set the game to fullscreen, my screen is as shown[i.imgur.com]. The game runs and thinks it's showing just fine, but I can't actually see anything.

If I keep it Windowed (or change it to Borderless) and try to set the res to 1920 x 1080, it gets forced to either 1920 x 1061 or 1920 x 1017 (the ini file reflects this change).

If I delete the ini file, re-open (goes back to 1768 x 992 Windowed) and close the game, then set the resolution to 1920 x 1080 and Fullscreen=true in the ini file, I get the above picture again.

Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
You can use any file sharing website of your choice or file.io for example.

Nothing specifically wrong with the game that I can see, can you check and disable any windows scaling as mentioned here?

Unfortunately, the scaling was disabled when I did the above checks (I had read that thread before posting).

I went into NVIDIA Control Panel and set the scaling to be "from the GPU", it seems to be a partial fix because I can now play borderless windowed. This may be some unknown NVIDIA/windows aspect issue, this isn't really my area lol. Thank you for your help thus far.
