Any way to delete dropped items, but not placed items?
I've adjusted the setting to delete items dropped in the world after a set amount of time, however I was curious if there's any way for that setting to not apply to placed items? Right now I run a server where tons of items get dropped on the ground to allow containers to respawn, I was able to fix that by simply having dropped items despawn after a set amount of time, but I noticed that also applies to placed items. We have a ton of items which we like to place around our base for the aesthetic of it (Such as cups and whatnot for a bar area) and those items also get deleted when the server checks to delete dropped items.

If there's any way around this could someone please advise?

Not that I know, since dropped items are basically exactly the same as placed ones.

Ah, I appreciate it. Do you know if there's any plans to ever add that functionality? Possibly through some form of 'tagging' system which would mark an item as 'Placed' as opposed to an untagged dropped item?

Just curious, thank you for the response!

Dont think it was planned right now but I would recommend suggesting such a feature here:

How about dropping items in dead zombie bodies and having them despawn instead. That should take the items they're carrying on them with them right?
