Vehicle dash overlay disappeared
When I get in a vehicle the dash doesn't show up anymore. I'm in the driver's seat, so that's not the problem.

Does it happen to one car only or on all cars?
Did you try restarting the game?

It happened with all cars. I eventually quit the game and came back to it later, it worked then. Still have no idea what might've caused it.

Well if it happens again, try to remember why and how exactly it happened so the devs can try to recreate the problem and fix it if its a bug :)

I have the same problem. Even if I quit the game and go back it doesn't help.

Do you have any mods enabled?

I had this problem too. I hotwired a box truck, hooked up a dart for towing without killing the engine, and when I got back in the truck no overlay and my watch disappeared. I got out and found my belt overlay was gone, and the green interaction displays for vehicle doors/trunk weren't showing. I hit esc and resumed game and it brought back my watch and belt and the green door square, but when I got back in the truck the belt stayed up, no vehicle overlay. I got in the dart, same thing. I also was experiencing choppy frames when this was going on. I quit game and loaded and it fixed it. No mods.

I had the same problem just now. I attached a trailer to my car. The trailer was parked forming a very acute angle with my car, so when the attachment was done, the car jumped a little bit so that both trailer and car were a bit more aligned than before.

When I entered into the vehicle, the dashboard wasn't displaying, although I could control everything using the key bidings.

I checked that this incident applies to other cars. I left that car and I entered into another one... No dashboard either.

I had this issue also, I fixed it by entering vehicle mechanics and then getting in and the dash returned. I found that it is caused by using the V menu right before entering the car. I have also noticed pressing V will sometimes remove all my Hud and I have to press esc 2x to get it back again. Build 41.50.

Try entering vehicle mechanics next time, and then getting in the car, should work.

Just had this issue. So guess bug is still alive

Found a fix; while outside the vehicle and away from it, press V to hide the HUD, then press V again.

so.. i'm not sure if this is a fix, but hiding the HUD isn't a common action for me so.. instead of putting it on the same key as the car-radial-menu, i just put it somewhere else and since then i didn't had the 'bug' anymore.

Same thing here, just had to change the hide UI bind to something I never use.
I didn't know that that caused that issue and it was driving me insane. Thanks for the fix!
