File doesn't exist on server
Tried to play with a friend, making our own server. But when he tries to join he gets a message about some missing .lua files. Verifying and reinstalling from both ends haven't work.
Any solutions? :spiffo:

It should show the path to the lua file. I assume you are using a mod? Since that is the main reason of the lua errors.
If it is a mod, you can see the path to the lua and the mod folder. I recommend just deleting the whole folder of the specific mod on both ends, and then unsubscribing from it on Steam, and then restarting Steam.
After that you can just add it back and try again, this should redownload the mod properly.

If it is not a mod lua issue, you can simply verify your game files.
Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Local Files > Verify Local Files

If that doesnt help, try following the path to the file again, delete it and try this again.
Good luck!

Looks like problem was on the other end, made my friend delete lua folder then verified the files. It's fixed now. Thank you Beard

But what if, with the same error, the path points to a file that actually exists?(and none of the tips helped)
