So u cannot keep reinstalling and installing components you need to do one of each daily tho. You won't get exp after u removed example the radio with a screwdriver and reinstall it again. You need to wait 24 hours before u can gain exp again from this.
Oh ♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥. I'm done with this game. They seriously expect me to do that from level 0 in mechanics? Also will you for the love of god read things properly. I have read the level 1 skill book why would I have done that if I was higher than level 0?
Debug mode (Cheating) is a modified game state in Project Zomboid. In this mode, the player has access to multiple developer tools which can spawn items, enable various cheats, teleport the player to any destination, and more.
To enable debug mode, add -debug to the game's startup parameters prior to booting the game.
Then after you could save and exsist and remove the debug and play normally again. It can also save you if you are about to die. Just save n exit before u die (if u really want to cheat your way out of a death) (that way u can reload debug mode and potential save your playthough)
So the only way to succeed is to cheat or grind? Yeah that sounds like a barrel of laughs....
Why the ♥♥♥♥ did they nerf it and then give you the option to turn it up? Why not just avoid nerfing it to begin with? Do they not understand that not everyone wants to spend an in real life week grinding skills? JFC.
Youre missing the point. I shouldnt have to do ANY of this. Its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ video game.
I dont mind a little bit of grinding. Ill give you a perfect example of good grinding. CDDA. So If wanted to raise my carpentry skill I would read a book that gave me the theoretical knowledge then I would think I can craft a coat rack from planks and one coatrack gets me 20% of the exp towards level 1. Therefore I know i only have to do this 5 times in order to get to level 1. Thats how its done. Not "make the player repeat the same process 800 times for 5xp but they are only allowed to do it once a day cos....realism".
There are just some minimum requirements to do some stuff, f.e. run a generator at level 3 electrical, but you may also find a magazine and don't need to level it at all, or you just live without electricity.
What you "HAVE" to level up is just prospect in your head, because in "reality" (the game ^^), you don't.
I think the intend you to play the game with a roleplay aspect in your mind.
You want want to do mechanics? Play someone who already is skilled in mechanic. Because thats what a mechanic would do. Use his skills to survive in the apocalypse.
I don't know how others play the game, but when i see someone has maxed out everything in B42, what comes to my mind is that he is either cheating or he made the game very easy. In the rarest cases i believe someone spend years ingame to level all those skills. Because it's boring as frack.
