Fishing B42

I checked the PZwiki for answers, but it still is B41 content.

1.
What is the best bait to use? I seem pretty successful when i use remaining fish slices that are not worth cooking.
Everything else seems to average. I haven't tried bait fish and jig lure, even though i have some, but i wanted to save them and use up my average baits first (like maggots, caterpillars and so on).

2.
Related to 1., do different baits attract different kind of fishes?
If yes, which one to use?

3.
The PZwiki suggests that twine is better than other lines that could be used for fishing. Shouldn't be fishing line the best line to use?
Is the same true for hooks?
Ans is a paperclip worse than a bone fishing hook or a nail?
It is really hard to grasp, since the game diffferentiates for some materials, but doesn't for others.

Is the fact that baits can be reused sometimes a feature or a bug?

Make chum. Seems to help a lot. As for bait and lines etc, not rly noticed a lot of difference.

You can use chum as fishing bait? I thought it's only use is for fishing nets. I have to give it a try.

I used a steak for bait and caught some pretty big fish. I wasn't sure about using such a nice piece of meat, but it turned out to be a fantastic trade.

Best bait is meat. Best meaning you'll catch fish with the greatest size and calories. Any meat that says can be used as fishing lure and it must be uncooked. Fresh/stale/rotten all good. That is how you catch the monster fish. Be aware the calorie bug still exists when slicing fillets as of 42.7. Chum just makes the ripples, waste of time. A crafted fishing line with twine and a nail is good enough, line stress depends on proximity of the catch to the player, so stand back from shore. I've done several videos on fishing because it is fun and can be funny.

If you want to fill your fishing card you'll need to use every type of bait.
