Can't use any mods anymore (B42.13.2)

All was just fine yesterday, but not anymore.
Now, when I press a button to create a new save, I get 1 error. Then, I see an absolutely EMPTY mod list to choose mods from for the said save, even though I'm subscribed to plenty of them at the moment. If I search up any mod there, they're all lit in red colour and have a red "X" on them, as if I've not installed a needed mod dependency or sth.

But having not installed some mod dependency isn't the case there. All the mods are lit in red colour rn, even those wich don't need any other mod as a dependency to function.

Wtf happened overnight? I don't remember an update being released rn, a patch, or sth like that. All worked fine yesterday, I wake up today, and all the mods are now unusable for some reason.


Tried to verify the game files' integrity via steam, but it didn't help. Seems to be a game-related issue, not a specific mod's issue, judjing by the fact that all the mods I'm subbed on are now lit in red. Also, clicking on them to see if there's a dependency missing (wich, again, might not eb the case here I guess, but still) is also pointless: i get another error pop-up, and no info regarding that, not even the mod's description appearing to the right side of the menu.


Wonder if it's only me having this stuff happen or not (saw another 1 guy having the same issue just now tho)



(!!!) EDIT (!!!): All started working after I've un-subscribed to the following mod:

For whatever reason, the said mod caused this stuff to happen, strange enough but a fact... Logs mentioned this mod in a warn message in console.txt file:

WARN : Mod f:0, t:1769720632572> ChooseGameInfo.readModInfoAux > can't find "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\2853615523\mods\pz-shops\common\mod.info"

Well yeah, I`ve got absolutely identical error, PZ just crashes all the time that I even dont see an UI, just a wallpaper of PZ.
UPD: Fun fact, my PZ couldnt even load bc of smth

I assumed it could be mod manager in default mods txt file (in my user/zomboid folder), but even after removing the line in this txt doc wich sets the said mod as a pre-loaded one on the game's start, it didnt help at all

I had the same problem a few about a month ago and it was caused by a mod, and I'm sorry I don't remember which one , but it wasn't the mod manager mod, I'm currently using it with no issues.

What I had to do to fix the problem was go to your zomboid folder > mods folder > and delete the reset-mods -41_54 or 42_00 files. . This should clear the list of activated mods and hopefully fix the problem. It did for me. Hope this works for you.

I'm currently using like 10 maybe 15 mods and I have no errors or crashes happening to me, maybe it's a mod that is causing the issue I've had that happen before with a few mods that I used to use and the creator hasn't updated them to the latest version yet.

I am late to the party but any of the status bar mods I used to use no longer work and idky.
Any1 got a fix for this or a working status bar mod???
