betterFPS mod is crashing my game. what do i do?

i downloaded better fps and change the settings to potatoePC, but everytime i log into a save file, the ``sorry, a unexpected erro happened`` screen appeared and i was forced to quit and refresh the files to work normally. is there a way to fix this or im scrwed

You can.
1. Ask the original mod creator to update the mod to b42.
2. Ask the original mod creator if you can take over the mod, and update it yourself.
3. Play b41 where the mod works.
4. Play without the mod.
