Problems with mods on server
What the hell? Why is it that when I install the same mods as my friends when hosting a server, my server won't start. I install them in the same order, etc., but the server still won't start. I even checked when a friend enabled a mod on the server, and his server started with it, but mine didn't. And on build 42, I can't even start the server. Has anyone else experienced this? I hope I'm not alone, because I've already deleted and downloaded the game several times, moved it to another drive, and much more, but the problem remains.

The order of which you install, does not determine the load order buddy. You need to either manually sort the load order, or download the correct mod manager mod ( for whatever version your running) and the mod sorting mod, to correctly auto sort the load order. Otherwise it'll likely end in a fail every time.

I run a server with almost 300 mods, B42.13.2, runs great, multiple people playing.

Also, if your running B42, especially b42.13+ MP, do NOT try to run older mods, if the mod wasnt updated at the very least in december of last year, theres a high chance it won't work with B42.13+.

I have a mod manager and a mod manager server. Can you send me a link to these mods? The weirdest thing for me is when I install one mod and it doesn't work for me, but it works for my friends.

In your .ini file how are you listing Mod ID's? [modID]; ? or \[ModID]; ?

Not sure in your case. I use a dedicated server so my file path will be different. Look for your .ini file.

If you are using the in game "host" mechanic I believe it is under what you listed as servertest or whatever you rename it to.

You have to activate the mod manager in your mods before going in your server setup if you don't the mod is useless and is not going to add the modID and such!

I am somewhat confident it does matter actually, sort of. The order of your workshopIDs on the .ini appears to be the load order.

I say this because if I load PZ and go to the Mods Menu on the main menu and set a random load order client side, then load into my dedicated server it will reload LUA as part of the process. But if my workshopIDs on the server are the same order as my client load order it doesn't reload LUA.

Yes you are missing the \....Should be \SkillRecoveryJournal; The workshop ID can stay as 2503622437;

So now you get to go through and put that \ in for every single mod you have and you have a bunch lol Finding out which one is a problem is going to be a nightmare
