Is there a Mod that uncovers the whole game map ?
I find it weird that my Character who appearantly owns a house in (for example Rosewood) or just moved into a location doesnt have any knowledge whats up his own street. Nor where the supermarket is. For me Project zomboid is less about exploring but to take calculated Risks. And the ingame map is already unclear enough to tell what is what. so I still need to explore anyways. It would´t be a problem if the map was small but thats just not the case without this third party webside that is a little bit too detailed i would be so lost in the vast emptyness of Forrests and plains with endless streets.

Im Aware of third Party websides are a solution but i would like to always stay ingame and use markers extensively.

Not sure about a mod myself, but one option is using the debug tool which has options for full map view.

It was designed for compromise between new and veteran players.

A veteran players knows the location of most things without ever looking at the map.
While it gives the opportunity of a new player to explore

Sounds good to me ill give it a try. Thank you !
Back in my day, we didn't even have maps. You had to drop rags on the ground to know you've been somewhere, or go to a third-party website out of game to look at that map!

after playing around with the sandbox settings, I saw an option to uncover the map fully at start (still grey until you go there)

Maps like Camden County bring that experience back. No map or map marker when you press M

Ya a lot of people don't realize just how much you can change with Custom Sandbox. Always love seeing people looking for mods to turn off the Mini-map when it's a Sandbox setting

Was about to say that.

There is a option as mentioned above in the sandbox setting it reveals the map. This is purely from the paper map standpoint and fog of war is unchanged

Or just create a sandbox game, and change the map option to show the whole thing

There's online map for whole game area:

https://map.projectzomboid.com

It's vanilla and does not contain modded map addons.

You can create Apocalypse/Survivor/Builder by choosing their preset in custom sandbox and change settings to your desire; there is an option for what you are asking in "In-game Map" tab.
