Not exactly true.
I looked it up:
George A. Romero's 1968 film Night of the Living Dead is a homage to Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.
Seems like that would make zombie animals especially birds very true to the original George A. Romero.
Where did you get this fake news lol? Night of the Living Dead was inspired by I Am Legend (not that crappy Will Smith movie, the book). And there are no zombie animals in Romero's zombie apocalypse. In Day of the Dead you can see alligators chilling with the zombies, and in the Dawn remake the zombies completely ignore dogs because they can't infect them.
Your right and I'm wrong. Google started this AI thing recently and now I get what the AI says not the truth. Bummer because I used to trust google.
Guess you can't trust anything anymore.
Zombie Birds and Gameplay
#Can it Work?
Cor i up late today 13:54pm i woke up for the morning
after being up all night. What a Life.
First thing i thought about when i woke up was should today i make a Tinder account.
lol
For Gameplay purposes.
I mean
Its not okay the players hide upstairs. And can build bridge from upstairs to upstairs zombie bird at least poses some ongoing risk. If zombie Bird actually was more frequent if many corpse were left to rot in nearby sectors. The frequency at the location would be higher than just 1 bird flying around. But then they can go on to migrate preferring the less urban regions. How i design it may not be the best. or the only way but
FOR GAMEPLAY?
U WANT U LIKE?
And please don't do puppiedawgs next either, i don't want to hear whimpering pups in my zomble killing game
its like imagine its like the noise but repeated during the atttack
QUA QUA QUA
then its flapping around in your face and your shoving it
but its persistent
you don't even know what angle it came at you from.
And thats the terror.
Sometiimes u just hear the smash glass and go into the room to find a dead bird (zombified) and you are like hm
did a bird just fly thru the window?
and then exposed so next time it happens the bird is in the room flapping about.
It can't hurt itself on doors because its travel velocity prevents meaningful self damage. but it scratches away at the door and eventually gives up and flies far or gets recruited by a horde

?
in my opinion
Some animals can be zombies
some cannot
Bird can be Zombie number 1. For necessity.
Pigs grow sick and die from eating Zombie corpses. but cannot be zombies
Rat and Mouse do not feed thus cannot be Zombies.
Deer and Cow never feed thus cannot be Zombies.
Chicken is unable to be zombies.
Crow can be Zombie. Maybe Dog can be Zombie.
These enemies differ because they give up the chase quickly when they can't get you, and go elsewhere.
A zombie crow is interesting for the cure because it retains some intelligence in regards that it can Fly, and more effectively Hunt.
in 28 days later a crow is seen feeding on a Corpse and then appears to mock Frank the taxi driver, before the drop of blood turns him into rage. It feed and then does an insane cry as if it has become infected in a mocking way. Or else to attract infected so to produce more corpses for it to feed.
Its one of those animals that tries to alert the predators of the location of prey so it can scavenge the leftovers. Like a vulture
that's why cats are so deadly in other games hehe
But bird i think it escapable.
Its nice to hint that there is a risk of a greater apocalypse and show the players that nature is not all sunshine and roses. And that the future can evolve to be even grimmer than it is with just human zombies. Or at least there is an indication that the zombie plague is capable of jumping species, but in its current state it is unable to bond with the majority of hosts.
