when farming make sure all your plants are well watered, and only harvest once they have gone to seed, that way you can get some seeds back and you will have a neverending supply of food.
and in case you didn't know you will need a trowel to dig holes before putting your seeds in the ground.
once you put the seeds in the ground you will want to water them in. just get a bucket and water until full. you can always right click on the plants info and see how much water it is getting.
I wasn't aware of this. I know some plants like the carrots the full meter is too much water, but I thought most the plants wouldn't let you water them past well-watered. I can never manage to grow carrots or radishes anyway, not sure if you have to be a certain level in farming skill.
Also, this thread pops up in google, so maybe someone will get some use from this.
The ONLY way to cure a cold is to go indoors, into closed areas, while keeping your character fed, and i would assume, hydrated (peckish is fine, if you get hungry, you'll start getting sicker).
Player structures seem bugged at the moment, since if i stand on an extended floor built by a player, i hear wind blowing loudly and it counts as being 'outside' and i start getting sicker, but if i head back to the default structure tile, still within the building, the wind sfx stops and i start getting better again...
Also exertion/running has nothing to do with recovery, I trained sprinting a bit while recovering on a character that was both obese/agrophobic (high exhaustion in around a minute).
