Closest you'll probably get at present is: http://steamcommunity.com/app/108600/discussions/0/648812305221475882/#p4
Upcoming and newly released builds are put up here. If you check through the comments underneath you'll see posts from Robert Johnson who tends to shout up when he's working on something. To date since the game hit Steam on 8th November, there's been about 4 updates I think, including a range of stuff like optimization, bug fixes, farming, new crafting items, new in-game items, map tweaks, various balancing issues, and a weapons repair system.
Edit: Oh, I also should have mentioned that every Monday the dev team release a "Mondoid" blog update to let you know how things are going, what they're doing, what we can expect etc. It's a reason to look forward to Mondays! It's also pinned up on the Steam forum, or a whole archive of them is available at http://projectzomboid.com/
