Is it possible to OD on medicine in PZ?

Like, say I have my character take, like, 10 painkillers all at once, will it damage her at all? And if not, is that a planned feature?

Is there addiction in the game? I got a fracture and have been popping painkillers like candy, but might want to stop if there is some sort of adverse side affect that can hit. I am guessing OD only happens if you do it all at once one after another.

Yeah, something happens when you OD, i don't remember what but something got halved, I think it's your character's health.

I OD'd on sleeping pills and died in my sleep.

one big difficulty thing I did was alchoholic mode, where water is not an option and I could only drink alchoholic beverages.
it makes gunfights IMPOSSIBLE.

I once ODed with antidepressants, about 3 bottles of it. I was confused by unhappiness adn boredem back then. it just appear quessy for a while and turns out fine. I didn't been scratched or bitten, just quessy without turning into zombie.
