Is it possible to spawn items in single player?

Hi I want to know is it possible to spawn items in single player and if its possible can I ask how to spawn some items like an axe for example. Thanks

This is only possible by installing mods. Personally I would recommend Necroforge for this task.

Of course, this does take some of the fun out of the game ;)

I created my own recipe file. Using items like the dish towel, or bath towel, I can 'make' things and it only 'wets' the towel a little. I also have a recipe to 'dry towel', so I can keep using it over and over. Since its a new recipe file, there is no compatibility problems with it.

Yes, before you start Project Zomboid, go to Steam and open properties of the game, set launch properties "-debug". Then you will be able to spawn items in singleplayer.
