Local coop (split-screen)

hey, i wanted to know how to play locally, i was looking for tutorials, but all of them are outdated, so, thanks in advance and have a good one!

Plug in all the Controllers you want to use (Xbox 360 Controllers or compatible XInput Controllers should work) before you start the game, start a game in any Gamemode you like, when it starts, Press A on a Controller and then you can choose something like "Add new Player", then you create a new character for this player, and pick if you want to start randomly, or next to a player thats already in.
If someone dies and at least one player is still alive, you can join with a new character too.

I have a little problem about this. My controller is plugged and working well, but pressing A doesn't make appear this "Add new Player" option or anything at all. So I can't play with a friend on the same PC. A little help, please ?

You need to tick the controller to activate it in the options :)

is there any way to do it with keyboard? My friend doesn't have a controller and i am the one using it so he can play via keyboard+mouse over Remote Play.

I mean if you have a controller of your own for you to play with, you can be "Player 2" and lend the keyboard+mouse to your frien using remote play together.
But you can't use both the keyboard, because it only recognize one player throught the keyboard

Yeah that's how we did it.

Then enjoy playing together, it's much fun and you can take so much zombies, like 3 time more than if you are alone, if you know how to do it ofcourse.

Yeah it was a fun run, we were 5 at one point too but then i think it was my CgNAT or Steam Couch play breaking down, it kept disconnecting my friends randomly.
