Ok so im freaking out because i was messing around on a map looking at west point in real life and thats when i see woodbury. the walking dead is in kentucky project zomboid is in kentucky. hold on sorry im so excited ket me just give you a link so you can look at it yourself and tell me if i am crazy or brilliant

Actually, The Walking Dead is NOT in Kentucky.... but if you're creative and imaginative enough, you could think, that as you die, theres a Rick out there down south (get your mind out of the gutter!) in Georgia I heard, but I do know he's cheating, and not dieing as intended... Yeah, TWD isn't set in Kentucky but "The Return of the Living Dead" was set in Louisville :)

actually, if you read the comics, Rick was an officer in Kentucky, and decided to drive to Atlanta, Georgia because he thought the military would still be there.
so I guess you can say the first episode of the TV show is in Kentucky :P

Yep, I think it was Cynthiana, which is a 1-2 hours drive away from Louisville :)
The proximity was not intentional, from what I can tell. At least it never came up. Maybe Kirkman had a reason for it? (I believe it was because he was from Cynthiana himself)
