Any security professional will tell you there is no such thing as 100% security. It doesn't exist in real life. You barricade to deal with the threats you understand and can affect, such as a zombie breaking through a window, but there are other threats. There are threats we can imagine, such as the chance a cessna pilot will find a stowaway zombie aboard his plane in mid-flight and kick the zed out the door while he is flying over your home. We don't know what the chance of things like that happening is, only that it is not 0. These are "Known Uknowns." There are also threats we can't even imagine ahead of time or "Uknown Unknowns" as Donald Rumsfeld called them.
As long as spawning inside your compound is rare, I'd say the game is spot on for being realistic. Maybe there is a loose sewer grate you hadn't noticed inside your warehouse and they're getting in through there. The zombie apocalypse is SUPPOSED to be "slightly annoying."
im convinced that zombies have learned to climb my sheet rope. ive pulled the sheet ropes when i dont need them or im indoors for the night.
And since none of the entry were break, plus only one zombie, it's more like some sort of bug thing, like over flowed spawn or so.
I've been using very small homes for my safehouses. Smaller is better in my mind, and I like to start with basically a Panic Room (and yes, I am claustrophic, but that has nothing to do with it) and then thoroughly clear the neighborhood. Maybe if I ever live long enough to finish my wall, they'll spawn inside the walls, but I've never seen them spawn inside my house.
Like I said it happened when the game was only on Desura so it was a much earlier build. I'm happy to give it another go though. I put an hour into it earlier today and it seems a lot better than last time i looked at it.
